Instagram, with its ever-evolving interface and features, remains a hub for sharing and engaging with content from all over the world. Amidst scrolling through endless streams of posts, have you ever wanted to revisit a video or post you liked but couldn’t find it? You’re not alone. Many users find themselves wanting to look back at the content they’ve engaged with, whether to share it with friends, draw inspiration, or simply enjoy it again. Fortunately, Instagram has a straightforward method to view your liked posts and videos. In this blog, we will guide you through the steps to easily find your liked content on Instagram. Check out the video now!
Step 1: Access Your Profile Menu
First things first, open your Instagram app and navigate to your profile by tapping on your profile picture in the bottom right corner. Once on your profile page, look towards the top right corner of the screen. You will see three horizontal lines, often referred to as the “hamburger” icon. Tap on this icon to reveal a menu with various options.
Step 2: Enter ‘Your Activity’
In the menu that appears after tapping the hamburger icon, you’ll find several options. One of these is labeled “Your Activity.” This section is essentially a log of your actions and engagements on the platform. Tap on “Your Activity” to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Explore ‘Interactions’
Upon selecting “Your Activity,” you’ll be directed to a new page showcasing different aspects of your Instagram activity. Look for the section titled “Interactions.” This part of your activity log includes everything from the comments you’ve made to the likes you’ve given out. Select “Interactions” to delve deeper into your engagement history.
Step 4: Select ‘Likes’
Under “Interactions,” you will find an option for “Likes.” This is where Instagram stores a record of every post and video you’ve liked. Tap on “Likes,” and you’ll be taken to a comprehensive list of the content you’ve engaged with by liking.
Step 5: Filter Your Content
Once in the “Likes” section, you might notice that your liked content includes both posts and reels. If you’re looking for something specific, like only videos or only image posts, Instagram offers a filtering feature. Look for the “Content Type” option. By selecting “Content Type,” you can filter your likes to show either “Posts” or “Reels,” depending on what you’re searching for.
And there you have it! By following these simple steps, you can easily revisit the videos and posts you’ve liked on Instagram. Whether you’re looking to find that one post that made you laugh or the inspiring video you wanted to share with a friend, accessing your liked content is just a few taps away.
