We’ve noticed that many of you have been asking about how to change your Facebook page name. Whether you’ve rebranded, made a typo when setting up, or just want a fresh start, changing your Facebook page name is something a lot of people want to know about. So, today, we’re going to break it down for you in simple steps.

Before we dive in, it’s important to note that you need to be logged into the correct Facebook account – the one that controls the page you want to change. This might seem obvious, but it’s a common mistake. If you’re not logged in as the page owner, you won’t be able to make the changes you need.

Now, let’s get started:

  1. Log Into Your Account: Make sure you are logged into the Facebook page you want to change. You should see your page on the left-hand side of your screen.

  2. Navigate to Settings: Once you’re on your page, look for the ‘Settings’ option. It’s usually located at the top right of your screen. Click on this to open up your page settings.

  3. Access General Page Settings: Inside the settings, you should see a section labeled ‘General’. Click on this to access your general page settings.

  4. Edit Your Page Name: In the general settings, there should be an ‘Edit’ option next to your page name. Click on this and type in your new page name.

  5. Review and Submit: After typing in your new name, review it carefully. Once you’re happy with it, click ‘Submit’.

  6. Save Your Changes: Finally, don’t forget to save your changes. Otherwise, your new name won’t stay put!

Please note that once you change your page name, you won’t be able to change it again for 60 days. So, make sure you’re absolutely certain before making the switch!
