Unfortunately, as of now, there is no built-in feature within the Google My Business app that allows you to schedule posts. However, there are third-party applications like Simplified, Plannable, Publer, OneUp and HootSuite, which we personally use and recommend, that can integrate with your Google Business Profile to schedule posts for future publishing.
2. Is Google My Business free, or does it cost money?
Google My Business or Google Business Profile is absolutely free to use. You can create an account, publish posts, and list your offers without spending a dime. However, if you wish to advertise or create ads on the platform, you will need a budget for that.
3. Is Google My Business a social media platform?
While Google My Business shares some characteristics with social media platforms, it isn’t one per se. It’s more of a listing site designed primarily for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) purposes. Unlike Facebook or Instagram, which focus heavily on community interaction, Google My Business is more about showcasing your goods and services to attract leads and customers.
4. Where can I find my Google Business Profile ID?
Your Google Business Profile ID can be found in the URL of your profile, right after “PlaceID”. You can copy this ID for any integrations you may need in the future.
5. Is it worth it to be on Google My Business?
Absolutely! Especially if you have a physical location, having a profile on Google Business Profile is critical. Google is one of the most-used search engines globally, so if your business isn’t listed on there, you might be missing out on significant opportunities. Hence, maintaining an active profile on Google Business is crucial for your business’s visibility and success.
6. What is a Google My Business page?
There’s no difference between a Google My Business page and a Google My Business profile; they are essentially the same thing. The terms are often used interchangeably, leading to some confusion, but rest assured, whether you call it a “page” or a “profile”, it refers to the same entity.
