Instructions
One: Open the Instagram app and go to your story camera by tapping on the little plus sign in the upper left-hand corner.
Two: Take or upload an image or video that you want to share on your story.
Three: Once you have your photo or video taken, click on the “sticker” Icon on the upper part then tap “@mention”. This will bring up a list of people that you can mention in your story.
Four: Tap on the person (or people) that you want to mention. You can also search for someone by typing their name or username into the search bar.
Five: After tagging people, tap “Done” in the top right-hand corner and then “Share”.
And that’s it! You’ve now successfully mentioned someone in your Instagram story.
Mentioning people in your Instagram stories is easy and fun! Just open up the app, go to your profile page, and tap on “Stories.” From there, you can either create a new story or edit an existing one. A list of matching users will pop up; select the one you want to mention and they will be added to your story. When you’re done, just hit “Share” and you’re good to go!
